Ingredients

  • 1 1/2C SWEET POTATO PHE:200
  • 1C DAIKON PHE:35
  • 3-4CLOVES GARLIC PHE:40
  • 1T GINGER PHE:11
  • 1T LEMONGRASS PHE:20
  • 2T SAMBAL PHE:40
  • 1/4C GREEN ONION PHE:15
  • 1T SOY SAUCE PHE:50
  • 1T SESAME OIL
  • 1T HONEY PHE:3
  • 1/4C+2t CORNSTARCH PHE:6
  • Total: PHE:420

Instructions

  1. 1) First peel and grate Daikon and Sweet Potato on a box grater on the medium blade.
  2. 2) Next lay out the shredded Daikon and Sweet potato on sheets of paper towel to dry.Squeeze out as much of the water as you can, this will help the cake be more crisp.
  3. 3) When dry place into a bowl and measure and add the remaining ingredients. Stir and you may have to add a little more cornstarch but not too much or the cakes can turn out gummy
  4. 4) Get your NONSTICK pan heated on medium high heat add about 2-3 teaspoons of oil and add 2-3 cakes at a time and panfry about 2 minutes on each side. When done set on paper towel to drain excess oil.
